Ridge capping is the angled part at the very top of your roof, where two sides meet. Over time, the mortar or pointing that holds the ridge in place can crack or fall apart. If it's damaged, water can seep in or tiles may come loose. Repointing or re-bedding ridge capping is essential for keeping your roof sealed and secure.

A roof repair involves fixing specific issues – like replacing broken tiles, patching leaks, or repointing ridge capping.

A re-roof is a full replacement of your roof materials, often done when the structure is still sound but the surface is too old or damaged. We always advise honestly whether a repair is enough or if a re-roof makes more sense long-term.

Colorbond is one of Australia’s most trusted roofing materials. It’s durable, lightweight, low-maintenance and available in modern colours. It performs well in extreme weather and doesn’t crack like tiles can. For many homes, it’s a long-lasting and stylish upgrade.

Both tile and Colorbond roofs are common in Perth, and each has its advantages. But if you’re looking for long-term performance and low maintenance, Colorbond is generally the more recommended option.

Our honest opinion: If you're building new, upgrading an old roof, or want less hassle over time, we usually recommend Colorbond for its durability, efficiency and clean look. Tiled roofs still have their place – especially if you love a classic look – but they do require more care as they age.

Pressure washing can be great for removing dirt, moss, mould and lichen from your roof. It helps restore the appearance of your home and can extend the life of your roof if done right.

However, not every roof is suitable for high-pressure cleaning. On older tiled roofs, the pressure can break tiles or wash away protective coatings. That’s why we always check the condition of the roof first. If it’s not safe or necessary, we’ll let you know – sometimes a repair or soft brush clean is the better option.

Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method that uses specialised solutions to remove mould, algae, and lichen from your roof without damaging the surface. It’s gentle but effective – especially on older tile roofs or areas where high-pressure cleaning could cause damage.

We don’t use it for every job, but it’s a great option when the goal is to clean the roof safely without risking cracked tiles or stripped coatings. It's also often used as a treatment after gutter cleaning or roof repairs to improve appearance and hygiene.

Yes. We provide a 2-year warranty on gutter replacements and a 7-year warranty on full roof replacements. This covers both workmanship and materials used.

No – as long as we have safe access to the roof or gutters, you don’t need to be home. We always take before and after photos so you know exactly what was done, and we’re happy to send them through once the job is complete.
